brought out on yourself. ‘My Stamp’ is the brand name for personalized sheets of Postage Stamps of India Post. The personalization is achieved by printing a thumb nail photograph of the customer images and logos of institutions, or images of artwork, heritage buildings, famous tourist places, historical cities, wildlife, other animals and birds etc., alongside the selected Commemorative Postage Stamp.
 My stamp will form part of detachable regular postage stamp and that could be used
for mailing purpose. With My Stamp you can express your feelings to your loved ones with the personal touch and wow them even before they open their mail. The min weight slab will be 50 kg, thereafter the consignment will be charged per kg.. For each consignment, a docket fee of INR100 is payable in addition to other charges based on weight, volume and distance. The above rate includes free pick up and delivery up to prescribed limit.

Applications are invited for the post of GDS Branch Post Master at West Eleri P O, Kasaragod ( Last date of application 17.01.2015)

   Applications in the candidates own handwriting is invited for Provisional appointment to the post of Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Post Master (GDS BPM) at West Eleri  Branch Post Office in the TRCAof Rs 4575-85-7125 per month. The candidates should satisfy the following condition.

1. Age should be between 18 and 65 years.
2. Educational qualification: Should have passed SSLC or equivalent    examinations. Should have at least 60 days computer training from a recognized computer training institute. 
3. Income: the candidate applying for the post of GDSBPM will have to supplement his/her from other sources so as to have adequate means of livelihood to support himself and his/her family. A certificate to these efforts will have to be furnished by the candidate before he/she is given an appointment letter.
4. Other conditions:
a.) Selected candidates will have to provide accommodation for the post office at his/her own cost at the locality fixed by the department

b.) Selected candidate should medically fit for the appointment

c.) Candidate should appear for verification of testimonials at his/her cost if   called for.
          d.) any form of canvassing will be disqualification for selection.
e.) In case of selection and appointment the candidate should take up the residency within the delivery village on taking the appointment.
          f.) The post is unreserved
g.) A person who is working as an LIC agent would not be eligible to consider for the selection as GDS only if he relinquishes the agency before the last date prescribed for the receipt of application.
5. Application in the prescribed Performa should be sent by speed post/ Registered post only and should reach to Office of the superintendent of Post Offices Kasaragod Division, Kasaragod 671121 , on or before 17.01.2015
6. The following documents should accompany the application
a.) attested copy of the relevant pages of the certificates showing the date of birth and educational qualification (SSLC Mark List)
b.) A certificate in support of having some basic computer knowledge
7. Certificate from the previous employee regarding the work and conduct and the reason for leaving the previous employment if any.
8. Covers containing the application should bear the superscription ‘Application for the Post of GDS BPM West Eleri PO’

9. Selection criteria: - The first 10 candidate selected in the order of merit of SSLC or equivalent examination mark will be short listed and will be called for verification of documents.

കേരളാ മെഡിക്കൽ / എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് എന്ട്രൻസ് എക്സാം 2015 അപേക്ഷ ഫോറമുകൾ കാസർഗോഡ്, കാഞ്ഞങ്ങാട്, നീലേശ്വരം, മഞ്ചേശ്വരം പോസ്റ്റ്‌ ഓഫീസുകളിൽ 09.01.2015 മുതൽ ലഭ്യമാണ്.

Kerala Entrance Examination 2015 security cards are available at Kasaragod PO, Kanhangad PO, Nileshwar PO and Manjeshwar PO in Kasaragod District. There will be two types of security cards one for general candidates  (Blue in colour) and other for SC/ST candidates (Yellow in colour). Cost of one set of application ( One security card, prospectus and envelope) for general candidates is Rs 1000/-  and for SC/ST candidates is Rs 500/-. The sale period will be from 09.01.2015 to 03.02.2015.

Independence Day 2015 – Stamp Design Competition

       Department of Posts is holding a “Independence Day 2015 – Stamp Design Competition”. The
theme of the competition is Women Empowerment.

     The Terms and Conditions to participate in the competition are as follows:-

           i.  Entries are invited for ‘Independence Day 2015 – Stamp Design Competition’. The
               participants are to make an original design on this subject (should not be copy of picture
               painted by someone else).

          ii.  Any citizen of India can participate in this contest. The design could be in ink, water
              colour, oil colour or any other medium (computer printed/printout will not be allowed).
              The design submitted should be such that can be depicted on the stamps in a visually
              appealing manner so as to be of interest to philatelic collectors.

          iii. Participants are free to use drawing paper, art paper or any other type of white paper of
               A4 Size.

          iv. The following particulars should be written legibly on the reverse of the design:

                  1. Name of the participant*
                  2. Age*
                  3. Gender*
                  4. Nationality*
                  5. Full and complete residential address with Pin code
                  6. Phone/Mobile Number*
                  7. E-Mail ID (if available)
*It is compulsory to provide the information.

        v. An undertaking stating that ‘The artwork submitted is original and no copyright issues
           are involved’ should be sent along with the entry. In case of any legal dispute related to
          copyright issue, Department of Posts will not be liable for the same.

       vi. The design should be sent without being folded, through “Speed Post” only, in A4 size
            envelope. The participants should mention “Independence Day 2015 – Stamp Design
           Contest” on the envelope in which the drawing is sent.

      vii. The prize winning designs will be considered for use on stamps and other philatelic
            material. The prize money will be as follows:-

                      First prize 10.000/-
                      Second prize 6,000/-
                      Third prize 4,000/-

      viii. The entries should reach on the following address by 31.03.2015.The entries received
            after the last date of receipt will not be entertained.

   Department of Posts ( DOP)  in  association with  Pantel Technologies  Pvt. Ltd  (PTPL) -established ICT Products Company, will  sell  PF 301 Bharat Phone'.


PF 301 Bharat Phone have a large 2.8 inch screen size and built in internet Access with 1999 minutes free talk time on BSNL networks. The large screen size and the inbuilt internet Explorer APK makes the device ideal for Mobile banking and e-governance applications.

MRP of the phone is Rs.1999/- inclusive of service tax and Education cess.

Booking Process

Booking and sale of the device will be done through Post Office counter.  In case of outright sale, customer can pay Rs.1999/in the Post Office and taken delivery on the spot. . If stock is not available, customer can deposit Rs.500/- in the Post Office as a non-refundable booking amount and remaining amount of Rs. 1499/- will be paid by  the  customer at the time of taking delivery.

All data related to sale/booking of device will be fed by the Post Offices PTPL CRM application software.   PTPL will-p ate User ID for each Post Office for operating CRM application software.  This process would   be reviewed at the time of rollout of IT project of the Department.

PTFL CRM application software will generate printed bill/ receipt against sale or collection of booking amount of Rs.500/- for handing over to the customer against sale/booking.

After receiving the booking information from CRM, PTPL GSA (General Sales Agent) will dispatch mobile phone in next 24 working hours.

In case company fails  to replenish the stock or fails  to address  the delivery  within   the  lock  in  period  for which  customer has paid  advance, customer will be intimated by the  PTPL customer care centre.

Customer will have the right either to extend delivery time or seek cancellation and   refund.  Department can then refund advance to customer with no deduction.  Department will get Rs.50/- as handling charges in such a case for closing the transaction from the company.

In case of over delayed refund and customer insistence to seek compensation, company will pay 1.5% interest per month to the customer.

   Delivery of Products and payment to the company

In the case of advance booking, on receipt of Stock, Post Office will intimate the customer to take delivery of the Phone within 15 days.

In Kasaragod District phones are available at Udma, Kalnad and Perdala Post Offices.
